st paul's public school ( April 07 , 1506- December 02 , 1552 ) was a miraculous , pioneer Roman Catholic missionary of the modern times and co - founder of the Society of Jesus ( Jesuit Order ) . Francis Xavier was born in the castle of Xavier , in the Kingdom of Navarre , ( modern Spanish Javier , Basque Xabier ) near Sanguesa , and Pamplona , in Navarre , Spain . on 7 April 1506 according to a family register . He was born to an aristocratic family of the Kingdom of Navarre , the youngest son of Juan de Jaso , privy counselor to King John III of Navarre ( Jean d'Albret ) , and Doña Maria de Azpilcueta y Aznárez , sole heiress of two noble Navarrese families . He was thus related to the great theologian and philosopher Martín de Azpilcueta .

At the age of 19 , Francis Xavier went to study at the University of Paris , where he received a license e's arts in 1530. He furthered his studies there in theology and became acquainted with Ignatius Loyola . Along with Ignatius Pierre Favre and four others , Xavier was one of those who of August 15 , 1534 bound themselves by a vow at Montmartre and formed the Society of Jesus . Francis Xavier devoted much of his life to missions to remote countries . Francis Xavier accomplished a great deal of missionary work , both as organizer and as pioneer . He had high qualifications as missionary . He was animated with glowing zeal . He was endowed with great linguistic gifts and his activity was marked by restless pushing forward . Francis Xavier's work initiated permanent change in eastern Indonesia , and he was known as the ' Apostle of the Indies ' where in 1546-1547 he worked in the Maluku Islands among the people of Ambon , Temate , and Morotai ( or Moro ) , and laid the foundations for a permanent mission . His efforts left a significant impression upon the missionary history of India and by pointing out the way to east India to Jesuits , his work is of fundamental significance with regard to the history of the propagation of Christianity India still has numerous Jesuit missions , and many more schools named against his footprint and name . On November 21 , he fainted after celebrating a mass . He died from a fever at Shangchuan Island of china on December 02 , 1552 , at the age of 46 , without having reached china , while he was waiting for a boat that would agree to take him to the mainland China .

St. Francis Xavier has requested the foundation of the Goa Inquisition , but he never saw it happen ; it commenced eight years after his death . On 16 May 1545 On December 11 , 1553 , Xavier's body was shipped to Goa . Saint Francis Xavier's relics are kept in a silver casket , elevated inside the Bom Jesus Basilica and are exposed ( being brought to ground level ) generally every ten years , but this is discretionary . The last exposition was held in 2004 for about one month during December . The next exposition is said to be planned for the year 2014. Bones of Saint Francis Xavier are also found in the Espirito Santo ( Holy Spirit ) Church , Margão and in Sanv Fransiku Xavierachi Igorz ( Church of St. Francis Xavier ) , Batpal , Canacona , Goa .

Rulse & Discription

  1. A student must carry his/her Diary to school everyday. It must have his/her photograph and complete identity information and signed by parents.
  2. Noparents are allowed to meet the students during the school hours without prior permission and sufficient reason.
  3. Every student should reach the school at least 10 minutes before the time fixed for Assembly and collect the child within 15 minutes of the Final Bell. Alter the gate is closed no child shall be allowed inside. Parents are requested notto come inside the school campus, while collecting or leaving the child.
  4. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the school, so parents must make arrangements for their ward.
  5. Students will not be allowed to go home during the school hours without sufficient reason.
  6. Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on every working day. Students who are sloppily dressed or notin uniform will be dealt with severely. (Neat & complete uniform carry 5 marks).
  7. Girls should plaint their hair if itis below the shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
  8. Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw any thing on walls, furnitures or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or the Principal. Any damage done willbe compensated by the one who causes it.
  9. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches or cell phones, pagers, toys , transistors, cameras, ornaments etc.) fo school.
  10. st paul's public school provides education from Pre- Nursery to Class-X. Therefore itis expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection, while the juniors show allrespect to their seniors.
  11. Class time table should be strictly followed and all the students should take care of their textbooks and notebooks. Books should be properly labeled and covered before the school starts.
  12. The students are strictly forbidden to purchase any articles of food item from unauthorized dealers near the school premises.
  13. No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be started in the school and no meeting, demonstration, party and picnic be held without the previous permission of the Principal.
  14. Any kind of presents to the members of the staff, or celebrations requires previous sanction of the Principal.
  15. On National Festivals all the students are supposed to be presentin the school compulsorily.
  16. Students are supposed to be present on the first day after summer vacation and Puja vacation or they will be fined Rs.20/- per day of absence, including the whole vacation.
  17. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside school. Hence, misbehavior, abnormal attitude, legal offences, any reported or observed objectionable conducts is liable to disciplinary action, which may lead to dismissal from school.
  18. All should be particularly careful not to throw paper plastic bags etc. any Where in the school premises. They should use bins especially provided for the purpose. Also the parents should send napkins and spoons with the pupils.
  19. Allcommunication should be addressed to the Principal.
  20. All students must speak English in the school otherwise their marks will be deducted from exam.
  21. Physical Education, Work experience, environmental education & Art Education are important subjects. So, detention in these subjects willlead to total detention in the class.
  22. As per State Govt, circular the regional language Oriyai is a compulsory subject whicht is not alterable.
  23. Attendance in all the tests is compulsory. Marks of these tests will be counted for award of grade and pabrersation to open higher class
  24. Parent are advised to compulsorlly attend the Teacher-Parent's Meet every month.
